La Portians, The LPPD’s Citizen’s Police Academy is set to begin on Tuesday Feb 15th.
The La Porte Police Department’s Citizen’s Police Academy is set to begin on Tuesday February 15th, 2022 at the La Porte Police Department located at 3001 N 23rd St. This is a 13 week free course provided to the surrounding communities so that they can have some insight on what their local PD does for them. This is a way for the police department to show its gratitude for the support that our residents have for us.
If you have not attended a CPA class before this is a great opportunity to observe some amazing and informative presentations given by an officer in each of our divisions. If you have ever had any questions regarding a police matter, this is the place to find your answers. Please join me next week and feel free to invite a family member or friend to attend with you. If you are unable to make it out, please spread the word and assist me in bridging the gap between the police department and its citizens.
For more information, or to get a copy of the application, contact Officer Rene Hernandez by phone at 281-842-3126 or email him at [email protected].
