Scroll only if you are prepared to fall in love 🐾💗🥺
Liberty is a favorite around the Pasadena Animal Shelter. If you go there in the morning, you are likely to find her running around, playing in employees’ offices or getting love from staff members. When volunteers choose which dog to walk or play with, it’s often her. More than one has said that if they could take another dog home, it would be her.
But for some reason, she gets overlooked by potential adopters.
Most likely, it’s because she can be a little shy when you first meet her. While the shelter doesn’t know her history, they suspect it hasn’t been the greatest. When she first came in, she would flatten down if anyone made a sudden move above her or made a loud noise. But with the work of shelter staff and volunteers, she has come so far.
She warms up quickly now, and once she knows you, she is the sweetest, most playful goofball. She loves toys and is known for running around with them at lightning speed. Meet the Queen of the Zoomies! When she starts going, she is guaranteed to make you laugh with her antics. She loves to climb in your lap and snuggle and has the most gentle and loving spirit. This sweet girl will be your most loyal companion.
Liberty is estimated to be about two years old and has already spent over 150 of those days at the shelter. She is ready to find a home where she can love and be loved. For more information about Liberty, please contact the Pasadena Animal Shelter at (713) 920-7942.
