If you're in an emergency bind and can't talk texting 911 is a thing 📱
Voice calls are still the best and fastest way to contact 9-1-1. But when it is not possible to make a voice call, you can text 9-1-1. The text should include: your emergency, request for police, fire or medical help, and location of the emergency.
This message is brought to you by our friends at Greater Harris County 9-1-1 Emergency Network.
