If you have information, PPD is looking for the person driving this vehicle who hit and killed a pedestrian off Watters Saturday Jan 28th.
On Jan 28, 2023, at approximately 5:30 PM, an unknown driver struck the victim near the 3800 block of Watters Rd road. The suspect Failed to Stop and Render Aid and immediately left the scene. A few minutes after the arrival of our officers, the 24 year-old victim succumbed to his injuries.
Our investigators canvased the area for possible clues and were able to locate a potential vehicle of interest. That vehicle is a late-model GMC Sierra with oversized towing mirrors and chrome trim. It also features yellow/amber marker lights on the roof and wheel wells, indicating that it is likely a 2500 or 3500 model. It appears to have a lift kit installed, oversized tires with dark-colored rims, a bed cover, and no front license plate.
