A TEXAN SHOUT OUT to the Boys Track Team who got off to a quick start last week at their first outdoor meet of the year! Jonathan Rivera crushed the 3200 with a time of 9 minutes and 43 seconds. Mark Lopez got 1st in his heat and 5th overall in 400 with a time of 53.92 seconds. And to finish it out, Jonathan Rivera took home the gold in the 1600 with a time of 4 minutes and 30 seconds. Catch him if you can!!!
And a SHOUT OUT to our Boys Freshmen and JV Track & Field Teams for a successful first meet of the season! Three of our athletes medaled:
-Jose Cortez earned 3rd place in the 400
-Jahir Hernandez finished 3rd in the 300m hurdles
-Phillip Hernandez won the 200m dash!
