I don’t wanna brag but Joshua, one of our Fine Arts Students is Class Champion for the second year in a row at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Art Contest. Congratulations!
Fine Arts Student is Class Champion for the second year in a row at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Art Contest.
Joshua Washington won the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo School Art Contest last year, in the Jr. High category, his work sold for an impressive $25,000. His artwork has been featured on the Texas Art Education Association's quarterly newsletter, and he was even more impressive by winning a Scholastic Art & Writing Gold Key award as an 8th grader. This year Joshua just added another accolade to his name as he was named the class champion of the Colored Pencil category at Houston Rodeo School Art Contest - lot number 3! He continues to amaze us as there is no doubt that this young artist will reach even greater heights in his career!
