Here's an idea cats, don’t dump animals on the front porch at the Animal Shelter.
Imagine going through a storm in a paper thin shelter that had been taped up and was getting soaked, leaving you in darkness where all you could hear was the rain and thunder around you.
That was the morning these little cuties had. They were dumped on our front porch in a cardboard box, along with their mom.
She managed to eventually break through the tape and get out, but instead of running off, she stayed close by her babies.
Luckily, despite being extremely shaken up, they are all doing ok so far and should be available for adoption in a few days.
But they weren’t the only ones left this week. They weren’t even the only ones left today.
Please, don’t dump animals.
We have cameras, and you can be prosecuted. But most importantly, it’s not good for the animals. To say it’s scary and traumatic for them is an understatement.
Please, just don’t do it.
