Her name's Bluebonnet. Heartbroken because her owners dropped her off at the shelter.
Yesterday, throughout the afternoon, you could hear a dog whining and whimpering when you stood near the front desk of our Adoption Center. It was this beautiful girl. Her name is Bluebonnet, and she was sitting in her kennel, heartbroken because her owners dropped her off.
We are taking her out every chance we get and, as you can see, she has charmed us all. ❤️ (She’s also a really good sport when it comes to costumes. 😁)
When she’s out of her kennel, she lights up. All of that sadness and heartbreak disappears for a few minutes.
But as much as we don’t want to put her back in the kennel, when our doors open at 11:00, we won’t have a choice.
And that’s why we are hoping someone will see this post and come get Bluebonnet today.
She is a sweetheart. She has a little bit of playfulness that wears off very quickly, and then she just likes to lay down and relax near people.
She LOVES treats. She seems to know some commands and has done a good job keeping her kennel clean. She’s estimated to be about four years old and is spayed.
She’s a good girl who would love a home…one that, this time, she can keep forever. If that might be yours — or if you’re interested in fostering her — please come by or contact us today. Ask about Bluebonnet (A159308).
