Hana Ginzbarg was an amazing conservationist who spearheaded the effort to establish ABNC in 1974. Since then, many great women have played an integral part in preservation here. This #InternationalWomensDay, we would like to honor Liz VanOrstrand for all that she has done and continues to do for ABNC. As an employee, she worked to grow our Visitor Services, providing events and activities for our community to reconnect with nature. As our volunteer coordinator, she guided and encouraged many dedicated volunteers to join us in preserving this natural treasure. She retired 2 years ago, but we are so fortunate to have her continue as a very active volunteer. For the last 2 years, she has dedicated countless hours managing and coordinating our Renewal 2024 plan as ABNC approaches its 50th anniversary. We are so grateful to Liz for helping us #keepABNCwild! To learn more about the Renewal 2024 plan please visit abnc.org/renewal-2024
