Gorda is a star who played Cheech Marin's dog in the Cheech & Chong movie - It's Smoky In Here. Go get her!
If you see Gorda in her kennel in the shelter, she will probably break your heart. But if you see her outside, we can almost guarantee she’ll steal it. ❤️
Inside the shelter, she’s scared. She shakes and trembles in the corner of her kennel. She was an owner surrender and has no idea what’s going on or why she’s here.
But when you take her out of the kennel, away from the noise, and let her relax for a moment, she’s such a little sweetheart.
She just wants to be with you, close by your side, like she never wants you to leave.
This photo shoot took a long time, not because she was hard to take a good photo of, but because she climbed up on my lap, laid her head on my shoulder and was so still and so content, that it was almost impossible to want to take her back.
We want her to have that same security — that same peace — always.
If you can give her that, please come by today and meet her. Ask for two-year-old Gorda (A159595) when you come in.
