Gael likes snorkeling, bowling and long walks along Armand Bayou. He's having a Huge Will Settle for Couch Sale today!
If you have a toy with a squeaker inside of it that you’ve been needing to get out, Gael is your guy. When he hears that squeak, he’s a man on a mission.
He was all laidback love and affection until we used a toy to get his attention for a photo. He barely gave it a glance…until he heard that squeak. Then, it was game on.
He only stopped when someone new would come in to the lobby. For that, he would drop the toy, lift his head and thump his tail. If they stopped to pet him, they had his attention. If not, it was back to his mission.
He was absolutely devoted to getting that squeaker out of the toy, and he did so in record time. When he finally got it out, he was so proud of himself and had the biggest smile. It was like he was trying to show everyone around him.
The only thing Gael would be more devoted to than his pursuit of de-squeaking squeaky toys is you.
Even in the moments of pure toy bliss, he still stopped, hoping that someone was coming to see him. To love him.
He’s been here for months and has never had that person, but he’s still holding out hope. Just like he wouldn’t give up on the squeaky toy, he won’t give up on that either.
If you’re the person he’s been waiting for, come meet him today! Ask for Gael (A156705). He’s about 5 years old and is a German Shepherd mix.
