Freshmen girls track is showing mighty fine at meets.
"Eight months later, those same nervous freshmen were helping their varsity track and field squads compete for the district championship and in Deer Park’s case being the spark plug to capturing a district crown in the girls division.
Deer Park and Dobie led the flood of freshmen, but Pasadena Memorial, Sam Rayburn and South Houston also introduced points-producing first-year athletes."
