Felon caught out selling coke and in possession of firearms. If it weren't for Precinct 8's nosiest officer, Nosey Duke, this clown may have never been caught. 🙏🏻👊
FELON IN POSSESSION OF NARCOTICS AND FIREARM
On Friday, March 25, 2022 at approximately 11:05 PM, Harris County Precinct 8 Deputy Morgan along with his K-9 partner “Duke” were on active patrol in the 5900 block of the E Sam Houston Tollway S when Deputy Morgan observed a silver Saab traveling westbound. A check of the vehicle’s license plate returned to a different make and model. Deputy Morgan activated his emergency lights and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the 13400 block of the Gulf Freeway.
Deputy Morgan made contact with the driver and identified him as 46 year old Cesar Alejandro Mosqueda. Mosqueda displayed signs of drug impairment and was directed to step out of the vehicle.
Upon further investigation, K-9 Duke was deployed and gave a positive alert to the vehicle. Deputy Morgan proceeded to conduct a search of the vehicle and located approximately 21 grams of methamphetamine, a handgun, baggies and multiple scales with methamphetamine residue on them.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted Possession with Intent to Distribute and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Mosqueda was taken into custody and transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center. His bond was set at $25,000 for the narcotics charge and he was later released on a personal bond.
