Fallen Harris County Sheriff's Office Deputy Darren Almendarez. RIP 🙏🏻
We were both honored and saddened to attend the funeral service for fallen Harris County Sheriff's Office Deputy Darren Almendarez earlier today. It is very clear to all who never had the privilege of meeting him that he was truly a great man. For him to be taken in such a cowardly way has left a hole in the hearts of his family, fellow law enforcement officers and his many friends that will never be filled. Thank you for your service Deputy Almendarez. Your work and dedication over the last 23 years has had an impact that will never be forgotten.
