Energy Institute High School students embarked on a day of adventure and learning at Armand Bayou Nature Center.

We connected with nature by hiking through the riparian forest to Armand Bayou, dip-netted in the freshwater pond, caught butterflies and insects while prairie sweeping, met some prairie ambassador bison and learned about local reptiles and mammals.
