DPPD can check on your house while you're away just fill out their pdf.
Going out of town for Labor Day weekend? We can check on your house while you're away.
Citizens who fill out a House Check Form (PDF) can have their residence checked by a police department employee if they are out of town for at least three days. During their absence, a police department employee inspects the citizen's residence for obvious signs of burglary, mischief or other crimes, as well as any suspicious or subtle signs of criminal activity. A log of the inspections is maintained by the police department and provided to the resident upon cancellation of the watch.
