Dobie student Jacob White is the only one in the PISD district to become a 2023 National Merit Scholar Finalist and all bills paid at University of Chicago. Congratulations!
Congratulations to senior Jacob White, who is a part of our Dobie ECHS Program. Jacob was recognized at the PISD board meeting last Tuesday for being a 2023 National Merit Scholar Finalist (the only one in PISD this year), receiving a full academic scholarship to the University of Chicago, and maintaining a 4.0 in his college classes and earning a 5 (highest score) on every AP exam he's taken. Jacob plans to double major in pre-med and creative writing.
