Gulf Coast Reads month is almost here! Join us for upcoming events related to this year's selection The Fishermen and the Dragon by Kirk Wallace Johnson, about a part of Gulf Coast history from the not-too-distant past, told in "gripping, twisting true crime investigation."

--November 2 at Fairmont Library (5 p.m.): "Seadrift" documentary showing and discussion with Pasadena Film Society.
