Congratulations to our own Deputy Claudia Lopez on being recognized by the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce this morning at their Volunteer of the Year Awards Breakfast. Deputy Lopez was nominated for a Nonprofit Engagement Committee Volunteer of the Year Award for her work with the Bay Area Alliance for Youth & Families. Deputy Lopez is assigned to our Support Services Division where she serves as the Department’s Community Outreach Liaison. In this role, she commits many hours to assisting organizations like the Alliance each year. Thank you to the Chamber for recognizing her dedication to our community.
