Congratulations to Deputy J. Humphrey and his K9 partner Barney! The pair graduated from the Houston K9 Academy, LLC today after completing a 9 week training course. K9 Barney was granted to Precinct 8 in March 2020 by K9s4Cops.org, a non-profit organization that grants working K9s to law enforcement agencies across the world. This latest training allowed them to become dual certified in patrol as well as explosives. This is a grueling course and we are proud of their dedication to our K9 program!
