Chip ice blue eyes was a quarter finalist at the 2021 Texas Turtle Race. In his retirement he enjoys being the books face for Central Library. He's up for adoption for the low cost of a couple Mc E D trips.
Chip, the star of the Pasadena Public Library, TX’s weekly #BookFaceFriday feature this week, keeps hearing people come in and ask if we have small dogs, like Shih Tzus.
So, he took matters into his own paws to get everyone’s attention.
He knows that medium-sized guys like himself and so many of his kennel neighbors tend to get overlooked at first glance, even though they — in his completely unbiased opinion — are every bit as cute, just as much fun, and definitely every bit as loving as their smaller-sized counterparts.
So, although he is lucky enough to have gone on a transport through rescue this morning, most of his similarly-sized friends are still waiting for a home. He would love if you’d come by and give them a chance. He promises you won’t regret it. They’ll even let you call them Shih Tzus…just as long as you call them YOURS. ❤️
