The TAEA Texas Art Education Association Texas Elementary Art Meet (TEAM) provides a collegiate assessment for a K-5 art student based on the TEKS standards. Students create original artwork and write about their creative process, which is then critiqued by a qualified juror.
7 out of 103 PISD students earned the “Top of TEAM” award which is the top 10% of all regional entries, while many more earned an excellent rating.
