Central Library's hosting Gardening for Butterflies by Houston Botanic Garden Saturday July 16th 10:30am 🦋
While it's hot outside now, fall will be here before you know it. That is a good time for planting the kinds of flowers that attract butterflies. Erin Mills, Education Coordinator at Houston Botanic Garden near Pasadena, will help us plan gardens that invite butterflies and other insects that enrich our environment. What butterfly friendly flowers and plants do well our part of Texas? Monarch butterflies are threatened -- what plants help them in their annual migration? What to do about aphids or other pests? Bring your own questions also! Register please by filling out the form below or by calling 713-475-4984.
