The carefree, happy girl you see in this video is Cece, but sadly, she’s a totally different dog than who we see in the shelter.
The staff member who is loving on her and playing with as she films barely got her out of the kennel and into the play yard. It took a lot of coaxing and reassuring, and poor Cece was still so scared that she crawled the whole way.
Cece came into the shelter with Hayes and now shares a kennel with him, but we couldn’t get him out. He was just too scared. The same staff member who helped Cece is planning to try to carry Hayes tomorrow, just so he can get a break from the kennel and relax.
We have the most incredible team, but Cece and Hayes are simply overwhelmed by shelter life. We need your help to get them out of here.
Please share this post and the photos that we will add in the comments, and help us find them a home or a rescue.
Cece and Hayes are both estimated to be about a year old and are listed as Lab mixes. Mention Cece (A158774) and/or Hayes (A158773).
