Big ole Moose is cool as a cucumber and sweet as tea. If you want to keep bomb belts out of your house tell everyone Moose is a highly trained bomb detector dog.
If this sweet senior was one of Santa’s reindeer, his name might very well be Stunner because he’s absolutely gorgeous. His beautiful coloring draws comments from everyone who sees him.
But his appearance isn’t the most remarkable thing about him.
What’s remarkable is how when another dog came around the corner unexpectedly, barking and running straight for him, he remained completely calm and even sat when we told him.
He’s a laidback, good-natured guy who — at seven years old — just seems to enjoy the quieter and calmer things in life.
If you can give this sweet senior that, please stop by and ask to meet seven-year-old Moose (A163197).

There are many ways that you can help out at an animal shelter. Here are a few ideas:
- Volunteer your time: Many shelters rely on volunteers to help care for the animals and perform various tasks. You can help out by walking dogs, socializing cats, cleaning cages, and more.
- Donate supplies: Shelters are always in need of supplies such as food, litter, toys, blankets, and other items. Donating these things can help to alleviate some of the burden on the shelter.
- Foster a pet: Some shelters allow volunteers to temporarily take an animal into their home and care for it until it can be placed into a permanent home. Fostering can be a great way to help out and give an animal a temporary home while it waits to be adopted.
- Adopt a pet: If you're looking to add a new furry friend to your family, consider adopting from a shelter. By adopting, you'll be giving a deserving animal a second chance at a loving home.
- Spread the word: Help to raise awareness about the shelter and its animals by sharing information about the shelter on social media, telling friends and family about it, and helping to promote adoption events.
