Big laidback Moose was abandoned by his owner. His broken heart could use your big heart and couch to live a dogs life.

December 21, 2022 · A-PASADENA NEWS, Animal Shelter, CITY

He came to us at the beginning of the month as an owner surrender, and from day one, he was confused about where he was and what was happening.

But now that confusion is turning into a bit of sadness. Lately, he hangs his head a bit and doesn’t always want to get up when you walk past his kennel.

We’re doing what we can — giving him extra love and walks and attention, but at age seven, this sweet senior needs a home again.

He’s the most gentle, mellow, loving guy. Give him a blanket and a snuggle, and he’s happy. At 73 lbs, he may not be the traditional lap dog size, but he definitely didn’t get the memo. 😁 He loves to lay next to you or curl up by your side.

He’s house trained and knows some commands and has done extremely well with other dogs. And he is adored by everyone who meets him.

If you’re looking for someone warm to snuggle with ahead of this freeze (and someone to love you wholeheartedly through any season), Moose (A163197) happily volunteers for the job! Come by and ask to meet him.
