Bernie's looking for his perfect peeps. You can find him waiting patiently at the Animal Shelter.
Normally, we say that a dog loves toys and leave it at that. But Bernie is a toy connoisseur. Not just any old toy will hold his interest. It has to squeak (naturally), it's better if it rolls (not mandatory) and it can't be too bumpy (or so we found out).
But when he finds the right one, he loves it so, so much.
He didn't want to let it go for anything. He carried it around proudly. He didn't even want to drop it for a treat at first. He even cuddled with it and laid his head down on it. ❤️
We know that when he finds his perfect people, he will love them just as much. Maybe even more...if that's possible.
Bernie is a sweetheart. He had so much fun playing, and he loved being around people. He's also extremely smart and knows several commands. He's a big, soft, fluffy cuddlebug who loves affection. He's estimated to be about two years old and is listed as a St. Bernard mix.
If you would like to meet Bernie (and share -- or can at least humor 😄 -- his refined taste in toy selection), he would love to meet you. Stop by and ask for Bernie (A158803) when you get here.
