Attention PISD parents. Report, don’t re-post. ⚠️
ATTENTION PASADENA ISD PARENTS
For the past several days, there have been social media threats circulating throughout Pasadena ISD and the region. Pasadena ISD Police have investigated district threats and found them to not be credible. We take each threat seriously and utilize the Police, FBI, and all other resources to investigate each post. Pasadena ISD will discipline according to the student code of conduct and prosecute to the fullest extent for posting a threat on social media. The District Attorney has accepted charges for Felony Terroristic Threat in these cases resulting in an arrest and expulsion from school.
Recirculating and sharing these posts can cause unneeded panic amongst parents, students, staff, and the community. We would appreciate everyone’s assistance to report all threats to the Pasadena ISD Police Department at 713-740-0200. Please rest assured once we are aware of a threat it is immediately investigated and becomes a top priority. We must all work together to keep our schools safe.
