At the Animal Shelter there's a lot of racket. Then, there’s Petunia 🌻
She sits there happily and quietly, just sweetly looking up at you with her tail softly wagging.
This gentle girl has a softer, more understated enthusiasm. She’s still every bit as happy to see you and just as eager to get out and be by your side.
She just has a quieter approach.
She’s a calmer girl in general. She tends to walk by your side, rather than in front of you. She doesn’t really jump up.
When you stop moving, she usually settles down by your feet and lays down. She’s content and happy and laidback. She’s a sweetheart, through and through.
Last month, she was left outside in one of our pens outside after hours. Usually when that happens, a dog is shaky and scared, nervous even. Not Petunia. Instead, she seems extra appreciative to be here, where she is loved.
We want her to have that feeling all of the time.
If you can help give her that, please come by and ask to meet three-year-old Petunia (A160965).
