Animal Shelter's foster friday update on Nori, the sad eye black Lab mix. ❤️
Happy #fosterfriday! We are starting the day with an update on one of our sweetest girls. Remember Nori, the beautiful black Lab mix with the slightly sad eyes? One of our amazing fosters took her in, and already, those sad eyes are a thing of the past! ❤️
Her foster mom says Nori is very calm and loves spending most of her time laying around or snoozing close by your side. She also likes going outside every now and then for a leisurely walk or to roll around in the grass.
She is sometimes a little uncertain about men at first, but her foster mom says that when they offer her a hand to sniff, she is fine and goes in for pets.
Her foster family includes a cat, and Nori seems to want to be best friends with him. She is very curious about him and wants to play, but so far, the cat is not sharing her affections.
But her foster mom says they can be in the same room with no issues, and Nori knows to keep her distance when he hisses.
There are no other dogs in the house, but if she meets one on a walk, she is curious and wags her tail, although she sometimes seems a little timid if they get close (but never aggressive or unfriendly).
We love this laidback, low-energy sweetheart, and her foster family does too. If you think you would too, she is still looking for her forever family. Call or email us to set up a time to meet Nori (A161204).
