After 50 years, Skateworld Deer Park reopened its doors following the tornado and Keller Middle School was invite for it's first run.
It’s been 50 years since SKATEWORLD first opened its doors in Deer Park.
The devastating tornado in January 2023 caused a temporary closure. SKATEWORLD re-opened its doors yesterday.
Owner J. Malone is nothing but ecstatic as he gets to open his doors for the first time since the incident.
Adding a sweeter touch, Pasadena ISD's Keller Middle School was invited back to be the first school to skate in the newly rebuilt facility for their grand re-opening as they were also the last school to have a skate out before the storm. 🤗
