Abbott the 10 year old cat gets to stretch his legs for a minute or two then it’s back in the pokey. If you’re looking for a slightly used well mannered cat go check him out.
When we got Abbott out of his kennel, the first thing he did was stretch his legs for a minute or two. At age 10, he doesn’t always love being in there for so long, and he seemed to appreciate the break.
We set him down on one of our nice, soft couches, thinking he’d love a chance to curl up and get comfy.
Wrong.
Once he was all stretched and ready to go, he was off to explore. He walked every square inch of our lobby, leaving no nook or cranny unexplored. He even greeted all of our Christmas decorations. 😁
He would stop back by to rub against our legs and get some love, and then he was off again.
Once he had seen everything, we finally managed to convince him to take a few photos with some treats (which he loved!) and some snuggles (which he was also a big fan of).
This handsome, loving guy is by far our longest-stay cat. In fact, he’s been here about twice as long as the next longest-stay.
Please help us get this sweet senior a home; share his story or, even better, come by and meet him. Ask for 10-year-old Abbott (A161674) when you stop in.
