🚨 Constables could use the help if you have info from a horrible hit and run that happened on Sunday Feb 27th about 5:46pm 🚨
Earlier this evening, at approximately 5:46 PM, Precinct 8 Deputies were dispatched the scene of a major accident located in the 2700 block of the East Sam Houston Toll Road N. northbound at the Market Street exit ramp. Upon arrival, Deputies observed a black Chevrolet Tahoe with heavy front-end damage and a silver Ford F-250 also with heavy front-end damage. Preliminary investigation suggests the silver F-250 was traveling the wrong way up the Market Street ramp onto the main lanes of the toll road where it crashed head-on into the black Tahoe. The driver of the truck was observed to have exited his vehicle and fled on foot and is still at large. He was described as a tall Hispanic male, thin build, wearing a black hoodie, grey shirt, and blue jeans. He fled east toward the Market Street/Sheldon Rd/IH10 area. The diver of the Tahoe was seriously injured and is in extremely critical condition. She was traveling with her 4 children who are all stable at this time at the hospital.
